The Lakewood Police Department has made an arrest and charged a man with homicide after a woman’s body was found inside a motel in the early morning of Nov. 2.
At around 3:15 a.m. on Nov. 2, police were called to the Chalet Motel at 6051 W. Alameda Ave. in Lakewood on reports of a dead body, according to a release. The body belonged to 32-year-old Rotasha Pryor-Thomas.
On the afternoon of Nov. 5 Lakewood police detectives arrested Jarvis Gates, 38, for the homicide death of 32-year-old Rotasha Pryor-Thomas at the Chalet Motel. Gates was arrested without incident, and charged with felony murder and 2nd degree kidnapping.
