Kicker Click earns RMAC honor

COLORADO SPRINGS -Colorado School of Mines punter/kicker Jacob Click has been named the RMAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Click helped Mines win the field position battle in their 21-13 win at West Texas A&M on Saturday. Click punted six times, putting three inside the 20 and another at the 20, with a long of 60. WT had starting field positions of their own 14, 9, 20, and 13 on his four best punts. Click was also 3-for-3 on PATs.

This season, Click has averaged 40.1 yards per punt with six of 18 inside the 20 and five boots of 50+ yards.

#5 Mines returns home Oct. 2 to host Western Colorado at noon.
