Letter to the editor: Alcorn again

Posted

In the words of someone famous, “there you go again.” Glossing over the abuses and behaviors of Trump, blaming a bunch of folks who show up at Right Leaning rallies for the cause of incivility in society ... really? Alcorn talks a good streak, but he makes excuses for someone who clearly has emboldened violent, misogynistic, racist behavior, not to mention uncivil, aggressive behavior. Yes society has become more crass and uncivil, and no, Trump did not start it. But let’s face it, those on the right in the conservative media are making it worse by excusing incivility from the highest office holder in the land — you want civil behavior, start here.
