People from all over the metro area visited Olde Town Arvada to check out the wares of 130 vendors for the second year of the Jackalope Arts Festival Aug. 5 and 6.

About 4,000 attendees came to the festival, which does not charge for admission. Jackalope was first held in Olde Town in 2021.

“We really enjoy that we finally found a home in the Denver area that seems to embrace our mission and our concept, and it feels great to be in a community that’s so supportive of everything we do,” Jackalope Co-Founder Sara Diederich said.

Diederich said that Jackalope organizers are hoping to return to Arvada next year.
