The Golden History Park always offers free admission, and throughout 2019, visitors have also enjoyed free admission to the Golden History Museum, 923 10th St. Celebrating its 80th anniversary year, the museum has seen a record-breaking number of visitors in 2019. To help continue the free admission beyond 2019, an anonymous donor has offered the Golden History Museum & Park and its visitors a challenge grant to make admission free in 2020. The amount to be raised is $10,000. If that amount is raised by Dec. 1, the donor will match the $10,000 as a grant, making the donation total $20,000, which would cover free admission for all to the museum in 2020. Nearing the end of October, the museum is only about $1,500 shy of meeting its $10,000 goal. Donations to help the museum meet the goal can be made online, in person or by mail.
