Adorned in maroon and white, the community lined Washington Avenue on Oct. 11 to celebrate Golden High School’s homecoming during the school’s annual parade. The homecoming game took place later that evening on Campbell Field at Marv Kay Stadium on the Colorado School of Mines campus in Golden. The Demons won 42-20 against the Grand Junction Tigers.

The 5-1 Golden football team plays Chatfield on Oct. 18.

More photos from the homecoming game were shot by area photgrapher Bill Way, and viewable on his flickr page.
