Golden Backpack Program's 10th Anniversary Celebration + Fundraiser

Free arts festival in Central City for families, leaf peepers and weekend wanderers

The Central City Plein Air Festival is coming up on September 27 through September 29, 2019! The festival will bring artists from around the country to Central City for three days to competitively paint fall landscapes and historic architecture near the Central City Opera House (124 Eureka St, Central City, CO 80427). Entirely free to the public, visitors are invited to observe the painters, ask questions and experience Central City in autumn from an artist’s perspective.
